In March to May this year Michael had the opportunity to hold a session at the IT leader circles of Bayme vbm (the Bavarian Association of the Electrical and Metal Industry).

The topic of the session was how to make the companies Change and Process Management fit for introducing AI into the processes. Is introducing AI just an ordinary change? Or have things to be done differently? Or can they be done differently?
A key take-away is, that while this differs not that much from other changes, we have two things to consider:
(1) we need to build expertise in the company, meaning we need to get in the experimental phase earlier
(2) in contrast to other processes, there is a significant personal interest in parts of the employees, which can be leveraged for a bottom-up process.
